The File
Who we are and what we're building in Leeds.
Missing In Action is Leeds' first disposable-camera-centred night. We run a strict no-filming policy on the dancefloor, so the crowd can actually be in the moment instead of worrying about ending up on someone's story. No judgement, no phones in your face — just the music, the people around you, and memories worth having. Think 00s and 2010s, taken back to where it belongs.
We put on one-off events throughout the student year, giving people somewhere to go and properly let go. Every lineup is built from Leeds' finest DJs, and we've always got a soft spot for pulling the vibe back toward the 2010s.
Our no-cameras-on-the-dancefloor policy has worked properly over our last three events. Instead, we hand out disposable cameras at random through the night and collect them before doors close. It keeps everyone present, and gives the crowd a genuinely fun way to capture the moments that matter — on their own terms, not through a phone screen.
The fastest way to hear about the next event before it's public is to follow @missinginactionleeds on Instagram, or get in touch directly.
